Inventory Control Clerk - Fort Worth (Full-Time)

Reports to: Shop Manager

Position Purpose: Supplying necessary material to the teams. Ensure that Mechanics always have the necessary parts available at all times. First Shift Monday – Friday (Some Saturdays.)

Essential Functions:

  • Maintenance Shop
    • Orders, receives, stores and distributes materials, parts, equipment and products within the shop, either manually or electronically.
    • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer programs and manual entry logs.
    • Clean and organize the shop and related work areas, stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in the parts room.
    • May be assigned additional duties as needed.
  • Parts Room
    • Order, receive, and issue parts as identified and required by Mechanics.
    • Track issued tools and ensure return upon completion of use in proper operating order.
    • Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:          

  • Must have a valid Texas State issued driver’s license.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work overtime, weekends and nights as needed.
  • Willing and able to pass a physical examination, drug and alcohol screenings
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work overtime, weekends and nights as needed.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • This position works in a mechanic shop setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • Work can include heavy lifting (typically up to 50-100 lbs.)

Must work independently, be a problem solver, highly motivated team player.
