Inventory Specialist (Full-Time)

Reports to: Warehouse Foreman

Position Purpose: Supplying necessary material to the Operations teams. Ensure that Mechanics have the necessary tools and parts available at all times.

Essential Functions:

  • Warehouse
    • Receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse
    • Assist in counting of physical inventory
    • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
    • Clean and organize the warehouse and related work areas
    • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
  • Parts Room
    • Clean and organize parts room
    • Order, receive, and issue parts as identified and required by Mechanics
    • Track issued tools and ensure return upon completion of use
    • Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with inventory management. Parts room experience a plus.
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willing and able to pass a physical examination
  • Willing and able to pass drug and alcohol screenings
  • Must be able to travel and work overtime, weekends and nights as needed
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • Work includes heavy lifting (typically up to 50-100 lbs.)
  • Exposure to prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, crawling and climbing
